This unique gathering provides a platform for participants to delve into the experiences of those working tirelessly to uplift individuals facing poverty, learning from their challenges and triumphs.

We are looking for presenters for the breakout sessions. These are ideas for presentations that might be in your area of expertise. If you have a presentation that you’d like to propose, please fill out this form no later than April 30. Accepted proposals will receive a $75 discount off the cost of the registration. LEARNING AND COMMITMENT SCHOLARSHIP
Emerge Solutions is offering the 2026 Learning and Commitment Scholarship, funded by an anonymous donor to support individuals working toward a more stable future. Two $1,250 scholarships will be awarded Nominees must be graduates of Getting Ahead, Getting Out, Workplace, or Investigations who: Are actively working to transition out of poverty, Have used Getting Ahead principles to overcome a barrier, Show interest in giving back and strengthening their community
Nominees must also: Submit a video (up to 4 minutes) sharing their story and be willing to share their story in person at the Successful Journeys: Graduate Storytime lunch on the first day of the conference
Nominators must be connected to an organization or 501(c)(3) that can receive and manage the scholarship funds. The scholarship check will be issued to the organization on the recipient's behalf. If you are not affiliated with an organization but want to nominate someone, contact Treasure McKenzie at [email protected]. Each nominator may submit up to two nominations. A separate form is required for each person.
Complete the nomination form (linked here…click to download), Answer all required questions, Have the nominator complete and sign the Certification section, Submit the form along with the video by Friday, June 12, 2026 to: [email protected] Note: The nominee or the nominator may complete the form, but the nominator must sign it. Emerge Solutions promotes lasting solutions to close the economic gap and build community sustainability at the local, regional and national levels by building a network of advocates to advance economic inclusion and opportunity across our communities. We believe we can be a positive force for closing the economic gap by supporting initiatives to advance economic equality through collaboration, education, advocacy and proven solutions.
Emerge Solutions was founded under the name Advancing Bridges at the 2012 Addressing the Challenges of Poverty National Conference. The organization began as a collaboration of Bridges Out of Poverty communities seeking to help local communities address poverty. The name “Emerge Solutions” was adopted in September 2015. The new name and our tagline, “Breakthroughs in Closing the Economic Gap,” better reflect our mission, emphasis on collaboration, and our expanded focus on seeking out and promoting proven solutions to transform communities from a broader range of sources. Today, Emerge Solutions is a member-driven, international organization that supports communities working to advance economic equality.
